Nick and Helen Russell have worked for Chuch Army on the Ferrrier Estate in Kidbrooke,South London, for over 10 years. Due to major redevelopment of the estate, they have recently moved to neighbouring Lee where they live with their two small children, Isabelle and Samuel.
They continue to work on the Ferrier Estate but have also expanded their outreach work to two neighbouring estates in Eltham (MiddlePark and Page). They work with young people through Girlzone, Boys 2 Men and a large children’s club, Superkidz. They started a fresh expressions of church on Sunday afternoons and, amongst other practical projects, work with young offenders and those being re-housed as part of the estates redevelopment.
They work with evangelistic purpose with the aim of helping people to rediscover their potential and self-worth through the experience of God’s love shared amonsgt Christian people.
