Philip and Fiona Richardson,  Bethany and Jasmine.  Philip comes from Romford and Fiona from East Yorkshire.  They both made commitments to Christ when teenagers and met at University.   Philip’s degree is in English and Fiona studied Theology and Ministry.   Philip also has a Masters from London Bible College: Fiona has experience as a teacher and a youth worker.  Thy adopted Bethany in 2006, having fostered her since she was a few months old.   She is now six years old.   

The live in Iringa, Tanzania, 550 miles from Dar-es-Salaam at an altitude of 5,000 ft.   Here they work in the Diocese of Ruaha under Bishop Donald Mtetemela.   Philip teaches at Amani Bible School (‘Amani’ is Kiswahili for ‘Peace’) training men and women for leadership in the church.   The school also includes vocational training schemes and a farm to support the needs of the College.   The Principal is Revd. Mote Magomba.   Fiona works with the Diocesan Youth Coordinator, Revd. Joshua Mkoga.   Fiona has produced courses for discipleship training and other materials for children and young people’s work.
