Our World church Partnership in Europe is established with the Church Army through the work of Captain nick and Helen Russell.
Nick and Helen are working for the Church Army in the Ferrier Estate in Kidbrooke south London. They have lived and worked there since 1999 and have a toddler called Isabelle. They work in one of Britain’s most deprived housing estates bringing God’s love into an area of social exclusion, high crime, vandalism, drug and alcohol abuse, and unemployment. With other Christian workers they bring God’s love in practical ways to people of all ages and needs through clubs, activities and mentoring, and share the gospel through these and through two fresh expressions of church. Their aim is for restored dignity and wholeness, and for transformation through the love of God.
