Second Marriage after divorce

The Church of England teaches that where a second marriage after a divorce takes place in church it is a deviation from the norm. Holy Trinity upholds this teaching.

If you or your partner have been divorced a second marriage following the divorce of one or both parties may be conducted at Holy Trinity after careful consultation with the Vicar.

You may be asked questions about the circumstances of the previous marriage breakdown, your understanding of the Christian faith and your present living arrangements.
