Holy Trinity Springfield
The Street Prayer Team seek to enable Holy Trinity Church to pray in an informed way, in worship services and in the monthly prayer meeting, for people who live in the parish, in order to strengthen links between Holy Trinity and it’s neighbourhood.
To do this we deliver a letter to each house twice a year informing the residents that we are praying for their street and inviting them to let us know of any prayer request they may have. The letters are delivered to six areas of the parish on a rota basis to cover all the streets in the parish in a six month period.
We meet on one day in the second week of the month to deliver the letters to one area of the parish, and meet on one day in the last week of the month to pray for the recipient streets. We also pray for each individual house as we walk the street and deliver the letter and individually pray for streets allotted us in our daily prayers taking up any prayer requests that may have been given to us.
If you live in the parish you will receive a prayer card from us. We welcome any request for prayer you may ask of us.
