Holy Trinity Springfield
· Pray for safety for Nick, Helen and baby Isabelle and the team in their work on the estate.
· For families that are moving off the estate due to the forced regeneration. The church and house Nick and Helen live in have received compulsory purchase notices.
· For the new church army trainee (craig) and the Greenwich youth team.
· Pray for ‘Superkidz’ and ‘Superkidz Girlzone’ Project that is benefitting the young people and families of the estate. Pray for Alana, who runs ‘Girlzone’ as she works with very unpredictable teenage girls, who find it difficult to keep appointments.
· Drug use and all the problems it causes on the Ferrier Estate, especially now narcotics Anonymous is ended.
· For the prison visits where the young offenders are encouraged by Nick and the team and for the work of the prison chaplaincy.
For Nick and Helen Russell – We thank you for the committed witness of nick and Helen in the Ferrier Estate in Kidbrooke over many years. We pray that you would give them every good gift they need for working in that difficult area. May they see the fruit of their labours and know the encouragement of others. Help them as they grow together, that they may know the blessing of family life. Amen
