For Gamblers Anonymous meeting in our church hall each Wednesday, and Over Eating Disorders anonymous meeting in our hall on Mondays and Thursdays. And for Alcoholics Anonymous meeting on Friday nights. For healing and freedom and that through our links the gospel may be known.

· Pray for the Salvation Army using our church Centre for the care of the elderly, as they demolish their own building to rebuild. Give thanks that the logistical needs have been met (meals from prison etc)

For all those involved pastoral care in the Parish in visiting, caring in fellowship groups, praying for the streets and delivering contact letters.

For the residents of our Parish in the streets of Chelmer Road, Springfield Park Avenue, Hill, Lane, Parade, Road, and Yarwood Road

Please pray for those who have returned prayer request cards or have left requests in the book in the porch.

Pray for the occupants of new flats to be built next to Lockside Marina and the small businesses in Springfield Road, Hill Road South, Navigation Road and Byron Road.

Pray that people may continue to respond to the cards offering that we pray for them.

Pray also for the agencies in our parish that work for the good of the community, Young people’s drug and alcohol awareness (Children’s Society), Age Concern, Hearing Help Essex, Essex records office, Essex Environment Partnership, Changes drug counselling and needle exchange, Salvation Army charity shop, Alzheimer’s Society, lighthouse centre.

The Borough Council ‘master plan’ for the development of the town centre. One quarter of the proposals are located in our parish along the water front and Warf Road area as a ‘new retail and residential area’.

Pray for those plans and for how we may respond as a church to the changes taking place in our parish

Continue to pray for the ‘Neighbourhood Action Partnership’ for our neighbourhood set up by the police in and other community Bodies inc. Holy Trinity Church for the benefit of the community
